Less expensive options are those which do not have the seal able lip. For these envelopes, you can add a topper or header out of cardboard or paper which is printed with your logo. Fold it over in half and staple it down with the clear envelope trapped inside. Clear envelopes or bags are also available with a hole at the top which makes presentation on point of purchase racks much easier to display.
Clear envelopes can also be purchased as glassine envelopes which are somewhat opaque. They are not totally clear. Their main purpose is for postal stamps or entomology purposes. You can purchase them from an entomology supplies dealer. Insect collectors temporarily store their collected insects in these envelopes. Glassine envelopes are also a hot trend in scrapbooking and paper crafting. Scrapbookers will use them for rubber stamping on and embellishing. They will also use them for holding trinkets, a dried flower, locks of hair, and other treasures or memorabilia on a scrapbooking layout.
